On October 6, 2026, HANRAY held its October monthly morning meeting and announced the company-wide rollout of an upgraded 7S management system. Departments with outstanding September results were recognized: Assembly Team 2 took first place with 392 points, followed by Engineering in second place and Warehousing, Quality and the first-floor production workshop tied for third.

This year, HANRAY formally introduced 7S management: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety and Saving Resources. A twice-monthly meeting schedule has also been established. The monthly morning meeting at the start of each month reviews and recognizes the previous month’s implementation; a mid-month review focuses on corrective actions for identified issues. This marks a systematic step forward in workplace management and lean manufacturing.
All departments actively participated in September’s 7S assessment, improving workplace conditions and operating practices. The final results were:
First place: Assembly Team 2 — 392 points
Second place: Engineering Department — 388 points
Joint third place: Warehousing Department, Quality Department and first-floor production workshop — 386 points each
Winning departments received bonuses and rotating red honor flags. The flags will be displayed in the winning departments as a monthly distinction and passed on following the next assessment.

As a company with a strong focus on wire harness manufacturing, we understand that batch consistency, safety and reliability in appliance wire harnesses all depend on standardized workplace management. 7S is not a one-off campaign; it is the operating system for our daily work.

The first mid-month 7S review is planned for mid-October, with a focus on completing and verifying corrective actions in each department. Assessment results will also be included in monthly departmental performance reviews to make workplace management a consistent, institutionalized practice.
Introducing 7S management is another practical step in HANRAY’s commitment to putting quality first. Congratulations to Assembly Team 2, Engineering, Warehousing, Quality and the first-floor production workshop. We look forward to more departments achieving outstanding results in future assessments.
